WWE Monsters Asuka

I rarely buy wrestling figures. In 30 years of toy collecting, I have probably bought five.  This would be number six.  Like the Zombie and Mutant versions of our favorite wrestlers - that reminds me, I did buy the Zombie series. This is the Monster series of figures, specifically, the female wrestler Asuka.

McFarlane NFL Le'veon Bell Pittsburgh Steelers

I made a decision not to buy anything online anymore. I would only buy that which I could find out in the wild. It's been frustrating. But also fun. I finally managed to snag the last figure in this series from last year. Le'veon Bell from the Pittsburgh Steelers. Hard to find anything Steeler related, even here in the DC area.

Also, since the hockey and basketball finals are done...that means pre-season football is less than 2 months away. Woohoo!

Haven't read the book.
Haven't seen the movie.

I assume I will when it comes out on streaming video or BluRay.

Either way - these figures look cool. Hard to pass up 1:18 scale figures.

Indoraptor - or Happy Jurassic World Day

Jurassic World - Fallen Kingdom opens today. To honor that occasion, here is the awesome Indoraptor. I believe it is a Walmart exclusive. Looks terrifying. Can't wait to see the movie.

Gentle Giant Star Wars Jumbo Kenner Coin Collection

Since I mentioned the coins on my last post with the Emperor figure, here is a collection of Jumbo coins from Gentle Giant. These are heavy and big. Lots of fun to display.

Included are the Emperor, Yakface, Gamorrean Guard, R2D2 from the Droids cartoon and Han Solo Carbonite.

Coins I don't have are C3PO and Boba Fett from the Droids cartoon, Luke Stormtrooper and Greedo.

Star Wars Gentle Giant Jumbo Kenner Emperor

It's been a long time since I received one of these 12 inch Jumbo Kenner Star Wars figures from Gentle Giant. I believe I paid for this in 2016 and it just arrived as the Premiere Guild gift. Whatever.

Anyway, a nice addition and it also comes with a coin. Love these coins. They are big. And heavy!

Toys R Us - Empty Except for....Star Wars

It has come to this. I finally stepped into a Toys R Us, wondering what was left. Most of the shelves were barren, the staff continuously moving inventory to the front of the store.

Except, Star Wars - so much is rotting in the aisle. Light sabers galore. And BB8 playsets.
 And sadly, Reys 6 inch scale speeder bike. I really liked that set and rarely saw it at stores. There were at least 100. The photo doesn't capture the other section of Speeder Bikes. Sad.

1/6 Scale Jawa Collection

I finally got my hands on a vintage Kenner 1/6th scale Jawa along with the Sideshow 2 Pack. Managed to get the Sideshow set at a great price.

I lined them all up.

In order - Vintage Kenner (1979), Kenner (1990s), Hasbro 2 Pack (2000s), Gentle Giant Jumbo Kenner Repro (2011), and the Sideshow 2 Pack (2016).  The Sideshow Jawas eyes light up.
