Another addition to the Harry Potter Popco collection. This is bad guy Fenrir Greyback. He comes with a pink wand which I couldn't get into his hands. Once again, that's me being paranoid about breaking something the second there is some friction and resistance.
I wish these had been more available in the US and that they had the chance to keep going with the line. My daughter and I are now about halfway through book 6 and while Fenrir has been mentioned once we haven't met him yet. I'm excited to see what she thinks!
ReplyDeleteYeah - this line is what was needed in the US. The story of the end of the company is pretty amazing - but probably common in the business world. Blake Wright devotes a whole chapter to the line in Toys That Time Forgot, Volume 2.
DeleteHarry Potter is one of those huge franchises that has just inexplicably never had a decent toyline that expanded beyond one or two films. Thank goodness Lego has stuck with the brand and has delivered so many characters. My daughter loves Harry Potter and that seems to be her favorite scale product range (although the 12 inch Harry from Mattel does sleep in a little cubby on her headboard).
DeleteCool. Yeah - if not for Lego, it would be pretty bleak. We built the Clock Tower during the holidays. So much fun.
DeleteWe did that one, too! Adora got it for Christmas. She actually saved up a bunch of money and asked for Lego gift cards from my wife's family so she was able to afford the giant Hogwarts done in the micro scale. We finished bag 21 of 37 last night!
