NECA Ben Cooper Series 1

I remember seeing these on preorder on Big Bad Toy Store, and thought they were pretty cool. But, I wasn't into 8 inch Mego type figures. Later on I saw they were all sold out. I saw Series 2 coming. Then I saw Series 3 and 4. Series three included Alien, Gremlins, and Beetlejuice. Series 4 has Sam - basically Ben Cooper costumes we never had. I was hooked.

Then I saw the prices on Series 1. Whoa Nelly!  But I was patient. Waited until they peaked and the release of Series 2 brought it down as well. Purchased Series 1 and 2 as a set for a steal.

So here is Series 1. Creature from the Black Lagoon, Frankenstein, Mummy, Skeleton and Devil. These figures are only 5 inches tall. That was a bit of a surprise. They're awesome though. My only complaint is the small feet. The heavy head kind of messes with the center of gravity and the small feet make it difficult to stand. Still. These rock. Each figure comes with a treat bag - either a plastic bag or plastic pumpkin.
