King and Country Battle of the Bulge Diorama

I've been wanting to do this for a long time. I had planned a more sophisticated base using foam board, but I was overcome by events (i.e. regular life). I also realized I would only have one day to do this before we brought our cat home after boarding him for vacation. So I used white poster board, and quickly put this together in the dining room. It was fun.
