Few companies have made collectibles about the Vietnam War. 54mm toy soldier companies are doing some great things now. The 12 inch scale touched on it a bit during the boom of the 1990s-2000s. 21st Century had a great lineup of WWII 1:18 scale characters. They also released some Vietnam figures which I thought were really cool.
But what happens many times, I pass on them, and these are the ones that get hard to find. Of course, they were on clearance for $2-3 before they got popular. Sound familiar.
Anyway, nice set of figures to include enemy combatants as well as awesome Huey helicopters and jeeps.
Also, if you've never seen the movie Uncommon Valor, here is the opening scene which will punch you in the gut.
Boxed Huey. I've unpackaged this one to prepare for some dioramas. It is a nice piece.
