Anakin Skywalker and the Sandpeople Puzzle

Always happy to post a puzzle, since that's how I got started with this blog. This is one of my favorites. Purchased a Hasbro 12 inch Anakin Skywalker from Attack of the Clones, and then purchased a lot of 12 inch Kenner Sandpeople.

What is it about Bossk? He's on screen for 10 seconds, but he rocks!

I remember he was the first "Send in your Proof of Purchase Points" figure for Empire Strikes Back. He just looks so cool.

Anyway, here is the reptilian bounty hunter - vintage style - in all of his 12 inch glory from the Gentle Giant jumbo Kenner line.

NECA Pacific Rim Series 2 and Series 1 Knifehead

Finally had the opportunity to watch Pacific Rim. What an awesome movie. Takes me back to those Godzilla movies when I was a kid.

NECA's Series 1 sold out quickly. I was happy to pick up Series 2 from Big Bad Toy Store. A day or two after I placed my order, they were sold out across the board.

Series 2 includes Gipsy Danger (battle damaged), Eureka Stryker and Leatherhead. Leatherhead is a massive, huge toy. Awesome quality, to be expected from NECA. I also ordered a Series 1 Knifehead via Amazon for list price.  Series 1 Gipsy and Crimson Dynamo run around $50 on the secondary market these days. Will have to wait to see if Dynamo drops.

Gipsy-Knifehead two packs are on their way so it should be easy to "make up" the Series 1 Gipsy with that.

Mezco Toyz Breaking Bad Walter White

Just started watching AMC's Breaking Bad. Quickly finished Season 1 and halfway through Season 2. Awesome show. Disturbing at times. Funny at times. Great drama. Anyway, glad to see some figures. Luckily picked this up at a Local Comic Shop for $18. I've seen them on Ebay for around $50. Nothing quite like a meth cooking action figure.

Insomnia Post #7 - KREO GI Joe Mini Figure Blind Packs - 8 for 8

Stopped at Toys R Us last week and finally saw the GI Joe KREO Series 2 blind mini packs. I grabbed the eight that were left. That night, I opened them all. Not a single double. Scored an 8 for 8.

Glad I got Mutt and Junkyard, Flash and Blowtorch!

Insomnia Post 6 - Call of Duty Mountain Recon Snowmobile

Love LEGOs! Love military toys!

Love that Mega-Bloks just released an awesome lineup of military Call of Duty themed building sets.

Love the packaging.

So here is my first set...the Mountain Recon snowmobile with winter camo ranger. The set is pretty basic. Great parts. The plastic feels cheaper than Lego, but the sets are cheaper too. There is a wider variety of specialized parts. The mini-figure itself is a beast to put together, but a lot of fun.

Insomnia Post #5 - Disney Star Wars

As mentioned before, went to Orlando and visited Disney Hollywood Studios during a business conference. Picked up these Disney Star Wars figures for my daughter. She is a big Amidala fan. Didn't get them all....wish I did because there is a silver "C3PO" Goofy build-a-figure.

Just realized I didn't get a photo of Minnie Mouse as Amidala. Will post loose photos later.

Daisy Duck as Aurra Sing is one I will have to track down as well.
