The exclusive Sheldon came out last year. The rest of the gang has been teased and been up for pre-order for a long time, but keeps getting pushed back. It was nice to see at least a new figure - Stuart - with cardboard comic book set as the package.
Here's hoping the rest of the figures come soon - and also, the Star Trek figures would rock.
By the way, the Big Bang Theory LEGO set is now up for order at lego.com.

Hasbro 6 Inch Star Wars Black Series Wave ?
Been awhile since I posted any 6 inch Black Series figures from Hasbro. Not even sure how these are numbered anymore. I think this is Wave 2 for 2015. Wave two has two new figures, one repaint and one repack.
The two new figures are the Emperor and Stormtrooper Luke. Clone Captain is a repaint. Stormtrooper Han Solo is the repack from the earlier two figure series that also included Bossk. These figures are really nicely done though I am having trouble getting them to stand and haven't found a good, standard figure stand for these.
I need to do a diorama with the Luke and Han Stormtroopers and Chewbacca.
Next series includes Leia as Boushh, IG88 and Commander Cody from Revenge of the Sith.
After that - keeping fingers crossed for whatever comes out from The Force Awakens. Midnight Madness begins September 4th.

NECA Luca - Dawn of the Planet of the Apes
Dawn of the Planet of the Apes rocked!!! The figures released from NECA were outstanding. Series 1 consisted of Caeser, Koba, and Maurice. Caeser and Koba were painted with war stripes and carried spears. Series two were Caeser and Koba repaints with machine guns and shotguns.
Series 2 also included an awesome gorilla by the name of Luca. Unfortunately, Luca was kind of short packed. In cases of 14, there were 4 of him. Seems plenty but it was rare to find him out in the wild (toy stores).
I finally relented and purchased him online. He is an impressive figure and valuable to any collection. I have unpackaged him but haven't taken any photos yet. A great figure.
Unfortunately there were won't be anymore Dawn or Classic POTA figures. Glad NECA took the plunge and at least made these.

NECA Simpsons - Celebrity Series - Series 5
This unfortunately will be the last Celebrity Series from NECA - DOH!
This is a great set that includes Tom Petty, Adam West (60s Bat Man), Stan Lee, Lenny Kravitz, and Simpsons creator himself - Matt Groening - as well as a Homer, Simpson, and Milhouse.
Hopefully, this won't be the last of the NECA Simpsons figures. They fit in perfectly with the previous figures from Playmates.

Marvel Legends - The Ant Man Series
I haven't seen the Ant-Man movie yet. I really want to. When you have kids, Ant-Man often gets vetoed by the Minions movie, which was pretty corny and entertaining anyway.
At least I got ahold of the Marvel Legends Ant-Man series. This is a really nice set that has a great Ultron Build-A-Figure as a part of the series. The Ultron comes from the Avengers: Age of Ultron movie. Interesting that they did him as a BAF, and not his own figure, but who cares.
Anyway, this series includes the movie Ant-Man, Wasp, Bulldozer, Tigershark, the Grim Reaper and Giant Man (who is the same size as everyone else). No worries though. I think what I liked the most about this set was Bulldozer who completes the Wrecking Crew set. He was teased as a chase figure a few years back but never materialized, until now. And he is an impressive figure. I also liked the Tigershark figure because he looks cool and his name is cool. I don't know much about him - will have to consult the oracle - otherwise known as the Marvel Encyclopedia.
Anyway - here they are. Soon, I will unpackage them to add more to the blog and build the Ultron as well.
