Jazwares Fortnite 4 Pack

I've never played Fortnite. I realize it's very popular. I have no interest in playing Fortnite. However, once I saw these figures at Target, I thought, why not. They look pretty cool.  Besides - Hasbro's distribution of Star Wars and Marvel Legends continues to be fairly poor.

So this first set is a four pack. Not sure if these are all heroes or villains. Ragnarok is probably a villain. The sculpting and articulation look great. These could probably fit in with other toy lines. Anyway, they look like a lot of fun. And it's something new.

By the way, I gathered these all up in about two days. They were all gone from every store right after that. Grab them while you can.

Marvel Legends Apocalypse Build A Figure Series

Here is the latest X-Men Marvel Legends series. This was a grand slam. Nice to see Storm again, though I still wish Hasbro made her in her original costume. Glad to see the Gladiator, Jamie Maddox - The Multiple Man including multiple heads, Psylocke and modern Magneto. It took me a while to find Psylocke. Apocalypse is the Build-A-Figure. Unfortunately, as you will see in the next post, he doesn't compare to the original Apocalypse BAF from years back.

Marvel Legends SP//DR Build a Figure Series

I didn't really want the SP/DR Build-A-Figure but I definitely wanted Cloak and Dagger, and Elektra. Awesome additions to the Marvel Legends universe.

Marvel Legends Warlock Build-A-Figure

Warlock was part of the X-Men Marvel Legends series from 2017. What a fun Build-a-Figure. What a bummer that with all the figures Hasbro has made, they've barely touched the New Mutants. We have a Cannonball...and that's it.  Dani Moonstar was teased years ago and never released. She was even on the packaging.  Come on Hasbro - bring us the original New Mutants.

Marvel Legends Walgreens Exclusive Fantastic Four

So the Human Torch and Thing aren't the Walgreens exclusives. I have the Walgreens Torch, just can't find him. I passed on the Thing and later regretted it. That was a solid hunk of plastic.  But it was nice to get the Invisible Woman and Mr. Fantastic. Glad they made the Silver Surfer as well. Great addition to the collection. Nice to see him pair off with Galactus.

Hasbro Super Heroes - Scarlet Witch, Spider Woman and Black Widow

These are the less expensive, less articulated Marvel action figures for those who don't want to spend $20+ on a Marvel Legends figure - let's say, like most parents.  Anyway, despite the less articulation, the sculpts are outstanding. Here we have the Avengers movies Scarlet Witch, Spider Woman and Infinity War Black Widow along her Marvel Legends counterpart.
