Wondering if Funko Pops have peaked. Would have thought with all the characters, the flow of GI Joe - A Real American Hero would be releasing new ones every month. Haven't seen anything new in awhile. I did stumble across this Serpentor though. Added him to the collection.
This one is on my radar. Sarge as well. Awesome pick-ups!

DeleteI read something recently (though I couldn't tell you where) that said they had peaked, and that people were desperately trying to unload them while they could still get anything for them. Whether that's true or not, I do not know, it was on the internet, so...
ReplyDeleteI think they have peaked. I see very few new ones and most are repaints and rehashes. Interesting, I don't see any new properties that Funko could take the license for. There was always Harry Potter and Game of Thrones. New media just hasn't scored very well lately. I also heard a story that Funko just dumped several million worth of inventory in a landfill. Will need to confirm that.
