Matchbox Volkswagen Golf

My first car was a 73 VW Rabbit. Looked the same as the golf. Purchased for $400, my parents sold it for $600 when I left for college. Not a bad profit margin. It was a fun car. Got me from A to B.

I actually found this in a gas station. Have never seen this before. 

Hot Wheels Batmobile

Total impulse buy at the grocery store checkout line. I don't collect Hot Wheels/Matchbox.

Little Cars - Ferraris and Saturns

I finally opened up my set of Ferrari cars I purchased in Italy, as well as a few other purchases.

Recently went to Italy for a family vacation. I saw one or two toy stores (to include an FAO Schwarz) but did not go in. Did go into a Ferrari store and came out with these Hot Wheels style cars. 

Random Matchbox Car

No idea why I grabbed this at Target. Think because I just saw the episode from History Channel's Toys That Built America, detailing the history of Matchbox and Hot Wheels.

Star Wars Hot Wheels Update

Hot Wheels continues to release some awesome Star Wars themed cars. It must be fun being on the design team for these things. A bunch of new cars have come out over the last few months. Love the Maz car. SDCC also displayed several new cars coming soon as well.
