102 Kenner Star Wars Action Figure Portraits - Acrylic on 10 x 10 Inch Canvas

So I finished these the first week of August, but I'm still going to say "Holy Cow! I finished!" Last fall, I painted nine Kenner Star Wars action figure portraits. I started with Greedo as a test, and then finished the rest of the second wave of A New Hope figures.

At the start of the year, I decided to paint all 93. Then I figured I'd do an even 100 by doing some variants (vinyl and cloth cape Jawa, red and blue Snaggletooth, retro Tarkin, and the Dionaga trash monster). I basically painted 4-5 each week. It took about six months in total. I took most of July off due to surgery.

At the end I included Salacious Crumb and the Max Rebo band. When all was said and done, I painted 102 portraits on 10x10 inch canvases. This is what it looks like laid out on my floor. Now I need to find a wall to put it on.

The canvases stacked on top of each other is taller than I am. See last photos.

Super7 ReAction Figures - U.S. Women's National Team (Soccer)

There's been plenty of sports figures (thinking McFarlane) over the decades but very few women athletes. Kenner's Starting Lineup had a few Olympic athletes back in the 90s but that was about it. Enter Super7 and their ReAction line and you get some cool figures of today's soccer superstars. Included are Alex Morgan, Megan Rapinoe, Julie Ertz and Crystal Dunn.

Jazwares Fortnite - On the Shelves

Can't really purchase all these, but looks like Jazwares is releasing several new vehicles for their Fortnite fgures. And of course, new multi packs. I like the holiday edition.

Chadwick Boseman - Wakanda Forever

It's been one year since Chadwick Boseman passed away after a four year fight with cancer. Almost incomprehensible that he kept it secret and completed three of the biggest movies of his career during that time.

I know it hit a lot of fans hard, especially the youngsters to who he was a role model.

Rest in Peace T'Challa. Wakanda Forever.
