YES - at one point I had a 1/6 scale Snowspeeder built for 12 inch Star Wars figures. It was a work of art, completely made of wood. I purchased it off Ebay and sold it off a few years later because of the size. I wish I wouldn't have. It is irreplaceable. Anyway - I took some photos of it out in the snow as well as in the garage using fake snow from Christmas decorations.
Once again, these are all the behind the scenes photos before cropping and selecting the final one.

More Vintage Joes - Iceberg, Torpedo, Blowtorch, Dusty and Doctor Mindbender
Picked up some more vintage Joes from Tosche Station in Springfield, Virginia.
Managed to find Iceberg, Torpedo, Blowtorch, Dusty and Doctor Mindbender for reasonable prices. Most joints were loose but not too bad. I broke Torpedo in half so may have to do my first O-ring replacement.

2007 CDROM Archives - the 1:18 Corsairs
This is one of my favorite dioramas only because of the craziness it took to set it up. I had three 1:18 scale F4U Corsair planes from WWII, manufacture by 21st Century and Blue Box International. I went into my garage, hung them on fishing wire, and put up a blue bed sheet for the blue sky background. What was fun was the way I had to hang those things up. I put snow shovels and rakes across the garage door tracks to hang up the planes.
Here are the actual posts and final photo chosen.

Found CDROM - Images from 2005 and 2007
So going through some old folders, I found these two CD-Roms? Remember those? Remember when they took over 5.5 Floppy Disks and 3.5 Inch disks?
Anyway, I've been looking for these disks for a long time and thought they were lost.
So the GI Jigsaw disc has a ton of photos of each of the dioramas I made to kick off my jigsaw puzzle business back in 2007. I was really happy to see all the additional photos because if you go back to my early posts when this blog started, you have the final photo that was turned into a jigsaw puzzle.
Toy Collection Utah are just a bunch of static photos of my toy collections - GI Joe, Marvel Legends, McFarlane Sports. A lot of the photos are fuzzy - taken with a 35mm camera that didn't have good close up capabilities.
Over the next few weeks, I'll be posting old sets of photos from some of my first dioramas. Hope you enjoy it!

New Vintage Joes - Thanks Toy Box
In my quest to build my vintage GI Joe collection, Toy Box was kind enough to send me a few spares he had sitting around. Thanks so much! Included was a straight arm Zap, a Cobra BAT, a Tiger Force Tripwire, and the fourth I still need to figure out (obviously a Cobra). As well as a small pile of extra gear and equipment. So much fun!
