I was organizing my toy stash and found these stored away. One of the things I always liked about the first few series of GI Joe - A Real American Hero toys in the early 80s was the packaging art.
Here are three of the vintage boxes and I also included the recent Collectors Club subscription Grand Slam who was one of my favorites, mostly because the HAL laser cannon was my favorite toy from the first series.
The Whirlwind twin battle gun and Polar Battle Bear snowmobile were also favorites. I remember the second series of figures coincided with their introduction in Marvel Comics GI Joe #11. After series 1 being mostly olive drab (OD) green, we started seeing some unique uniforms of Snow-Job, Airborne, Doc and Gung-Ho.

Diamond Select Ghostbusters Series 4
Series 4 has been out for awhile. Series 5 should be coming soon which will complete the first Ghostbusters movie lineup from Diamond Select. Can't wait for the cab driver, librarian and devil dogs.
In the meantime, you get a slimed Peter Venkman, Gozer the Destructor, and Walter Peck (aka Dickless)...who I have blogged about before.

DC Designer Series Ant Lucia Retro Bombshells Series 1
The DC Bombshells art by Ant Lucia has been very popular in the comic book world. Styled after 1940s pin ups, Ant Lucia has created awesome styles of our favorite DC heroines. In Series 1, there is Wonder Woman, Harley Quinn, Poison Ivy, and Bat Girl.
Great articulation and extra accessories make these a great addition to any collection.

DC Wonder Woman Figures
Every one is anxiously awaiting the new Wonder Woman movie. It's been a long time coming, and it looks like it was very well done based on the trailers. DC could use a good movie, and a female heroine movie is badly needed as well.
This new series from Mattel is well sculpted and the characters look fantastic. Included are Wonder Woman, Diana of Themyscira, Queen Hippolyta, and Steve Trevor. If you see Hippolyta, grab her as she is short packed.
I wasn't going to get Steve Trevor, but the Ares Build-A-Figure is totally bad ass.

Star Tots - Power of the Force - Germany SW Celebration 2013
So if you thought the first three sets of Star Tots was it, like me, you were wrong. As I was searching for Star Tots on Ebay, I came across a rare Yak Face Star Tot. Hmmm. Where did that come from? At that time, a Return of the Jedi set had not been done (done in SW Celebration 2017). I searched for more Return of the Jedi figures and found nothing.
Then a few weeks later, a Barada popped up on Ebay and was labeled with "Germany Celebration." A little more digging, and I discovered the very rare set of Power of the Force Star Tots from the Germany celebration in 2013.
Continued searching on Ebay yielded nothing. Only the Yak Face from time to time. I posted on the Rebelscum wanted board to see if anyone had the whole set. Luckily, a fellow Scummer had a set and was willing to sell.
So this is the Power of the Force set from Germany, and once again, fun and cool card art by Jason Peltz.
