King and Country WW2 Ambulance and Third Infantry Division Soldiers
These are two sets I picked up from the Heart of the South Toy Soldier show in Annandale, Virginia in September. The first is an ambulance jeep and the second is a set of four soldiers marching. The white and blue striped patch on their uniform indicate they are from the Third Infantry Division - the Rock of the Marne - Dog Faced Soldiers. I was in that unit for a few years during my time in the Army.

It's not really related, but the name of the unit made me think of the movie "Dog Soldiers". I know that you said a while back that you don't like horror, but it's a good picture.
ReplyDeleteCool. May have to check it out. Thanks!
