Funko Walking Dead Mystery Minis Series 4

I LOVE these Walking Dead minifigs. I LOVE them even more now that McFarlane decided they aren't doing 5 inch figures anymore. These Funko figs have a wide variety of characters and hopefully they are selling enough to generate more series and more figures in the future.

Series 4 includes Constable Rick and Michonne, Beth, Sasha, Tara, Morgan, Masked Morgan, Bob, Noah, and the 4th Version of Daryl Dixon plus a second motorcycle.

Hot Topic also has a Terminus Rick with red machete. Well played Funko.

The baddies include Wolf, fire covered Walker, barb wire covered Walker, and water soaked Walker.

Outstanding all around. Hopefully Series 5 includes Negan and Jesus.

The New Ghostbusters

Despite the ridiculous controversy of the all female team, I am looking forward to this movie. I think it will be a lot of fun. All of the actresses are top notch. The special effects look awesome. The movie looks funny. For a great analysis of the remake controversy, here is a great write up by Andrew Bloom on http://underscoopfire.com/how-sexism-ruins-ghostbusters-for-everyone-even-the-people-who-dont-care/.

Marvel Legends Captain America Civil War

I still haven't seen the movie, but that didn't stop me from ordering the latest set of Marvel Legends figures. This is a great set with your usual heroes - Captain America and Iron Man. The set also comes with an awesome Black Panther from the movies, Nick Fury (non-Samuel Jackson), Red Guardian and Nuke. I had never heard of Red Guardian and Nuke before but they seem like great additions to the Marvel Universe. The sculpting and paint apps are outstanding. Now, I just need to see the movie.

The Build-A-Figure (BAF) character is Giant Man (Ant Man) from the Civil War movie.

Cage Free Eggs

Guess who's back...Shady's back!

Well, going all out on April drained my energy in May...plus, I got in a procrastinator's slump.

But I'm back.

With that, how about some breakfast? Some eggs maybe? Some cage free eggs?

That's what showed up at toy stores with the six egg Alien LV-426 Cage Free Egg carton this April, probably to celebrate Alien Day (4-26 - get it?).

Anyway, I finally picked up a set of these. Inside are three sealed eggs and three open eggs with face huggers inside. Pure cage-free awesomeness. They'll definitely fit in with most NECA Alien figures.
