Don't think these were widely advertised or known about. I remember stumbling on these by accident at Walmart. These 1:18 Vietnam War figures were fashioned after the characters of Oliver Stone's Platoon. Taylor (Charlie Sheen), Elias (Willem Dafoe) and Barnes (Tom Berenger) were the stars of the movie. Lerner was a small part - but played by Johnny Depp.
