Mars Company 54mm Somali Insurgents and Delta Force

Edit - Right after I posted this, I saw that this was my 1000th post. Damn! Was going to do something special. Guess it will be post 1001.  Anyway - back to the posting...

It's nice to see toy soldier companies finally starting to move into the modern wars. They've touched just about everything from WWII and before.  Now, Toy Soldiers of San Diego, CTS, and the Mars Company have delved into the campaigns of Vietnam and Korea. ArmiesinPlastic have also done modern soldiers and Taliban.

Now, the Mars Company gives us Somali Insurgents and Delta Force operators, as seen in the movie Black Hawk Down - based on the real events of the Battle of Mogadishu on October 3-4, 1993.

Great sculpting and cool poses.

  1. Congrats on 1,000! These do look cool I do not recall ever owning the bad guys before.

    1. Thanks Bob. These are brand new. Glad to see modern day enemy combatants.
