That same weekend, I used the sand parcel in my backyard to recreate the charge on Fort Wagner from the movie Glory, about the all Black 54th Massachusetts Infantry Regiment. Still one of my favorite movies.
The figures were both Hasbro figures. I believe the uniforms were from the Soldiers of the World line.
I still need to see this film.
