Happy New Year's Eve!

Wow. This year went by fast. As a coworker of mine said, "it evaporated." Overall, it's been a fun year. Glad to be out of the almost three year pandemic for the most part, and I appreciate the online friendship with all of you. Wishing you peace and prosperity, and good health in 2023.

For the month of January, my blog will focus on the Playmates World of Springfield, Simpsons line. I managed to organize my previous collection (a lot I purchased in 2006-2007-ish). I also filled in some gaps.

If you commented on my posts the last few weeks, I finally caught up and responded. Was traveling the over the last few days.

Finally, if you are a regular reader and want a set of these poker chips I made from some of my original Star Wars art, just email me your address at gijigsaw@gmail.com. No cost.

Cheers! Happy New Year!

A Visit to Eternia Dreams Toys and Collectibles and Toy Exchange

Matt from Toybox already covered this road trip. Here are my few photos from our excursion. It was nice to see new stuff like a half aisle of Simpsons figures. Who knew there were so many Buffy figures?

Christmas Joy

Hope everyone had a nice Christmas or enjoyed the holiday that you celebrate. Had some goodness under the tree this year. The funny thing was we traveled to Utah for Christmas to visit my parents. We never travel during Christmas but my daughter hadn't seen them since June of 2019.  We couldn't take a bunch of gifts so I opened these last night around 1am when we arrived home.

First, from Matt at Toybox. The chocolate and records were for my wife and daughter but I'm sure I'll be partaking of the chocolate and listening to the records.

Next from my buddy Kevin. A Topps Star Wars card box which was filled with vintage diecast goodness. I always wanted that diecast Y-Wing.

And finally, this awesome Lego set from my wife. This will be a beast to build, but will be a lot of fun.
