King and Country Black Hawk Down - Shugart, Gordon, and Durant

King and Country finally made three specific individuals from The Battle of Mogadishu or Black Hawk Down. The three piece set includes Delta Force snipers Randy Shughart and Gary Gordon. It also includes Black Hawk pilot Michael Durant, whose helicopter was shot down. Shughart and Gordon were killed in this battle protecting Durant, and were awarded the Medal of Honor posthumously. Durant was taken prisoner by Somali militia but was freed almost two weeks later.

King and Country has already released several sets of Army Rangers. Now we need some enemy combatants, and KnC did not disappoint with these eight Somali militia men.

This was the third wave of Black Hawk Down figures from King and Country. This wave includes two HUMMWV vehicles and a fire team of three Rangers. Really like this series. Can't wait for some enemy combatants and some Delta Force figures.

On this day in history - October 3, 1993 - The Battle of Mogadishu! (Black Hawk Down)

King and Country dives into another era of modern combat. This time, they released Rangers from Task Force Ranger in Somalia during the Battle of Mogadishu. This is the first wave, with wave 2 right behind. Can't wait until they release Somali militia, as well as the HUMMWVs.
