Christmas Haul

Big thanks to Matt from Toybox for the Christmas gifts. He said this was in response the Spider Man peg people I painted last year. Wasn't necessary but much appreciated and a lot of fun. I followed his instructions for the most part, opening these throughout the day instead of all at once. Really appreciate the GI Joe firefighter, the Diamond Select Black Hole figures, and the Cold Slither album and comic. I will be listening to the album today finally. We took off for New York City right after Christmas.

Four Horsemen - Figura Obscura - Ghost of Christmas Past

I showed this off packaged last year. Didn't realize I hadn't included the unpackaged figure. Love this figure and hopefully by this Christmas, some of the other spirits or Ebeneezer will have joined the party.

Fresh Monkey Fiction - Naughty or Nice - Santa's Reindeer

These arrived last January or February, so I waited until now to display them. I had purchased some of Monkey Fiction's Christmas figures a few years ago. Well made. Great design and articulation, and a solid chunk of heavy plastic. They released four reindeer with a pack of alternate heads so you can make nine different reindeer. They also released a zombie reindeer and an evil Krampus goat. I did buy one more Santa - this one an all white, that includes a frozen zombie alternate head as well. At 1/12 scale, these are well made, quality toys.

Purchased these last Christmas but forgot to post. The Muppet Christmas Carol is one of my all time favorites. I had been eyeing the John Denver album for awhile but finally found one at a reasonable price. Both picture discs as well. Love it.

The fun thing about the Figura Obscura line is you don't know what it will be until it's revealed. And it is in stock so when you order, it's at your door in a few days. In keeping with the holiday themes, this year's Christmas figure is the Ghost of Christmas past. An awesome figure. And the art work on the box is amazing as well. Hoping they do the Ghost of Christmas Present and Future in the future.
