Boss Fight Studios - Strawberry Shortcake Wave 3

Another great property from the 80s. Hard to believe this franchise started from a greeting card line. Anyway, this is Boss Fight's third, and probably final wave. Here we have Blueberry Muffin, Apple Dumplin, Raspberry Tart, and Lemon Meringue. I mostly remember these from a girl I went to piano lessons with. My Star Wars figures would battle her Shortcake dolls in the car. Star Wars had better weapons but the dolls smelled better. These still smell even though they are all plastic.

Boss Fight did an amazing job with their first set of Strawberry Shortcake figures. The second set is delayed, but the third set, including Sour Grapes and The Peculiar Purple Pie Man of Porcupine Peak just arrived. Great additions.

Boss Fight Strawberry Shortcake - Wave 1

I thought these would be smaller. I purchased some small Strawberry Shortcake figurines for my daughter years ago. Thought these would be a nice addition. These are as big as the original dolls, except they are all plastic. Well articulated and great sculpts. And yes, they have their scents as well.

The heads and hats are very heavy compared to the rest of the body. Wave 1 includes Strawberry Shortcake, Orange Blossom, Lime Chiffon and Huckleberry Pie.
