Marvel Legends New Mutants - The Entire Team

I was having trouble finding the Walgreens exclusive Dani Moonstar figure out in the wild. Of course, I needed three Dani's because it came with two additional heads (Wolfsbane and Karma) to create the three original New Mutants female team members. Every time I tried looking for a set of three on Ebay, it came at a ridiculous cost. 

Of course, all the while I was thinking it would be cool if someone came up with a custom Sunspot and Cannonball as well, in their original outfits. 

Suddenly, one day, I came across a set of New Mutants that included the entire team and then some, using custom creations as well as standard figures at a very fair price. It included three Dani's...of course, along with a custom Magik and Husk, and then Cannonball, Sunspot and Doug Ramsey (Cypher), along with the Build-A-Figure Warlock.  Done deal! So here they are...

First.....Dani, Wolfsbane and Karma.

Then Cypher, Cannonball and Sunspot.

And finally, Magik and Husk.

And oh yeah, Warlock!

Marvel Legends Cannonball - Wendigo BAF

I don't plan on getting most of the Wendigo BAF line. Almost all are repeats (even though I picked up Nightcrawler). Already have a Wendigo figure as well.

Had to get Cannonball. There are so few New Mutant figures from Hasbro. Although this is changing with the Dani Moonstar figure - soon to be released Walgreens exclusive. She comes with alternate heads for Karma and Wolfsbane. Smart move. You know I'll buy three just to have three independent figures.  Check out She's Fantastic review of the Dani figure.

Anyway - this is a cool figure though it's come with some controversy because he comes with no legs. Just his fiery rocket lower half. Kind of strange but wonder how you would design and manufacture a removable lower body and legs.

Marvel Week - Magik - Walgreens Exclusive

This is a great addition to the Marvel Legends line, especially since we really haven't seen a lot of New Mutants over the years other than Cannonball. So here we have Magik - Ilyana Rasputin.

This figure is a Walgreens exclusive though a similar figure was released in a San Diego Comic Con 5 figure box set with Doctor Strange.
