LEGO Friends Heartlake City Community Center

It's been awhile since my daughter built a LEGO Friends set. She and her friend had a great time putting this together, starting their summer break from college.

LEGO Friends Apartment Set

My family loves the Friends television show. I bought this set for my daughter several years ago. She built it when she got home from college. Had a friend help her. They had a blast. 

Glad they included the figure of "Janice" - she was one of the best side characters.

LEGO Queen - Live Aid

Toybox gave me the heads up about this custom LEGO set on Ebay. It is Queen during their Live Aid concert. While I was tempted to purchase it, it was a bit too much for my taste. I showed my daughter (a BIG Queen fan) who promptly pulled out our LEGOs which she hasn't touched in years and created her own.

LEGO Friends and the Zombie Apocolypse

One of my favorite mash-ups. My daughter's LEGO Friends figures, the LEGO Modular Building Series, and Diamond Select Walking Dead Minimate zombies. Weapons from LEGO Lord of the Rings included for "braining" the zombies.

With the zombie-pocolypse in full swing, there is only one thing to say - You Go Girls!

Lego Friends Make Their Stand During Zombie Apocolypse

I saw a friend (who has two girls) make a Facebook post about gender driven toys. My response was to just "mash them up." In this case, my daughter and I took her collection of Lego Friends, a bunch of Walking Dead MiniMates zombies, and the Lego Village to create a all girl last stand in the zombie apocolypse. It was a blast. I also added a bunch of weapons from the Lego Lord of the Rings sets.
