The Ladies of ReAction

Once again, falling behind on actually doing the write ups. I've been pretty impressed with the line up of figures from ReAction. Within each series, they've shown some great female figures. Many argue whether or not female action figures sell. In this case, I think Funko and Super 7 are doing a damn fine job representing.

Willow - Buffy, the Vampire Slayer

Buffy - Buffy, the Vampire Slayer

Black Canary - Arrow

Sarah Conner - Terminator 2

Vina - Star Trek

Lt Uhura - Star Trek

Ali - The Karate Kid

Diva Playalaguna - Fifth Element

Leelo - Fifth Element

Marla - Fight Club

Magenta - Rocky Horror Picture Show

Columbia - Rocky Horror Picture Show

Janet Weiss - Rocky Horror Picture Show

Gracie Law - Big Trouble in Little China

ReAction Classic Star Trek

I've never been a big Star Trek fan, but given that I am loving these ReAction figures from Funko and Super7, I had to complete the collection. Classic Star Trek came out in two waves. The first had Uhuru, Bones McCoy, Spock and Sulu,

The second wave included Captain Kirk, Scotty, the alien lizard-like Gorn and the beautiful..and green alien Vina.

I have no idea where my Kirk figure went.

This. Sucks.

And if you are a McFarlane Walking Dead collector, you know exactly what I am talking about.

Have You Paid Your Dues Jack? - ReAction Big Trouble in Little China

Ah yes, catching up on some more ReAction figures from Super7 and Funko. Love these things. This time, we'll take a look at the awesome line from Big Trouble in Little China. I love this movie. It is one of those - it's so bad, it's good movies. The acting is purposely atrocious - I mean, there are some grade A actors in here with some really cheesy lines. But it's so much fun. Kurt Russell plays Jack Burton, a truck driver, who gets involved with saving some kidnapped women in San Francisco's Chinatown, surrounded by mystical bad guys. Plenty of kung fu and monsters.

Included in this set are bad guy Lo Pan, Jack Burton, Gracie Law (played by a young Kim Cattrell from Sex in the City) and three bad guy ninja/samurai types known as Rain, Thunder and Lightning.
