Transformers - Snarl and Slug Dinobots

In all my years of toy collecting, I have only ever purchased two Transformers.  The first was Kickback, the Insecticon grasshopper. I actually purchased that when they first came out. I wanted to see what all the fuss was about. It was cool, but by then, I was out of toys (junior high and all).

When the second Transformers movie came out, I bought the tank Brawl, because, well, I liked tanks, and I used to be in the Army. I didn't have the patience to put it together probably. Must be the reason I never got into them.

Then I watched the Netflix show, the Toys That Made Us.  They have an episode on the history of Transformers. Amazing story. I highly recommend it.

Anyway, it inspired me to grab two Transformers - bought two Dinobots, cause well, Dinosaurs are cool!

I still have trouble making them Transform. Those will likely be the last two.

Star Wars Solo Story Vandor-1 Playset

Certainly wasn't expecting this from Hasbro. Fans have been asking for playsets for awhile, even though it seems Hasbro can't get them to sell - probably because they are so expensive.  I've seen in a forum or two over the years, how some would like a vintage style cardboard set at least.

So here you go - the Vandor-1 playset for the Solo Story movie. From what I've heard, the cardboard is very sturdy reinforced by a structure of plastic. It is strong and the playset has a lot of great value. Comes with an exclusive Chewbacca. Well I guess adding the goggles makes it exclusive.

Love the kids playing with the set. So vintage.

Anyway, looking forward to putting this together if I get any time.

There is a Kessel mine cardboard set coming as well.

Just messing around with some photos of the original 12 Kenner Star Wars figures against their colorful backgrounds from their card packaging.

Star Wars Black Series Enfys Nest and Swoop Bike

I thought the character of Enfys Nest and her swoop bike gang was a great part of the Solo movie. Hasbro did a bang up job putting this character together with an actual Swoop Bike.  The bike is well packaged. It is a lot bigger than the box would have you imagine. An awesome piece. Hoping Hasbro releases the rest of its 6 inch line for the Solo movie.

Ant Man and Yellow Jacket - Celebration of the 10 Year Marvel Cinematic Universe

As part of the 10 year mark of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Marvel Legends has released several homages to certain films. This is the one I really wanted to get because Yellow Jacket was a great character and villain and the costume was bad ass.

Glad Hasbro released this set.
