Marauder Task Force - WW2 Army in the Pacific - Medic - Desmond Doss - Hacksaw Ridge

I was building some dioramas with my Pacific Marines and Army troops from the Marauder Gun Runner WW2 line. By chance, I also stumbled onto the movie Hacksaw Ridge, starring Andrew Garfield who portrays Medal of Honor Winner Desmond Doss. Doss was a conscientous objector who refused to carry a rifle but became a medic during WW2. Read his story and watch the movie. A true American Hero.

Kenner Star Wars - Vintage Rebel Transport and Echo Base Briefing

Took out my trusty vintage Rebel Hoth Transport, some sheets of styrofoam and a bunch of vintage Kenner Hoth rebels and X-Wing pilots and threw them together for a quick pre-battle briefing.  This was just a test to see how much space I would need for a larger layout. Would really like a few Snowspeeders and a Millenium Falcon in here next time. Thinking I need some plasterboard in the garage.

21st Century Toys Ultimate Soldier 1:18 German Panther Tank

Had this desert camo Panther Tank sitting out in my garage for a long time. Decided to throw him into the sand box along with a bunch of DAK (Deutches Afrika Korps) soldiers I had used for an Indiana Jones diorama.

Playmobil Scooby-Doo

For some reason I can't resist Playmobil, especially their newer licensed set. I came across these at Walmart just before the quarantine.  Still need the Mystery Machine with Fred, Wilma, and Daphne. Maybe it's Daphne that gets me excited. 

Anyway - this is the Shaggie, Scooby and Ghost set along with the blind bag ghosts and creatures.

Was messing around on my sand table and have been wanting to set up these Western Playmobil sets for awhile now.

Super7 ReAction Aliens - Humans

The three aliens arrived a few months ago. Finally, the humans arrived. Ripley, Newt, Bishop, Hicks, Hudson and Vasquez. I love these things. So much 80s vibes and goodness.
