Mythic Legions - Frost Wave?

Honestly, I've lost track of what the name was of this series. I've had it for a few months and the theme is definitely snow and ice. There is an official name, I just can' remember it.

I had to have this set if only for the Thallyn Frostbow and Ice Troll figures. So cool.

At first glance, I didn't realize Ragna Stormforger was a female dwarf. Her legs are short. Very cool figure though.

Cowarrus is an obvious homage to everyone's favorite green jungle cat.

You can never have too many dark elves.

DC Primal Age - Series 2

Finally managed to come across a few of the Series 2 figures from Funko's Primal Age DC line. These are He-Man - Masters of the Universe type five and half inch figures of DC Super Heroes with a medieval design. Pretty creative.

Series 1 I found easily enough at most Targets, where they were an exclusive,...except for Joker and King Shark. I have yet to see Series 2 at any other Targets except for one. And I only found three of the five and no Astro Dog.

The design continues to be pretty cool.

This series includes Superman, Flash, Bizarro, Lex Luther and Black Manta.  Black Manta was always my favorite DC character.  One of these days, I'll actually see the Aquaman movie. Obviously you'll see, I haven't found Superman or Flash yet.

Star Wars Vintage Kenner Figure Jigsaw Puzzle

Was in the arts and crafts store buying some stuff for my daughter when I came across this:

Pretty darn cool even though I have no patience for a 1000 piece puzzle. Obvously photo shopped based on the size of the Rancor in the back row. Still - something fun to do on a rainy day.

While I made my own five years ago, I may have to redo it now that I have the complete set of vintage Kenner figures. Obviously need to size the set up properly so there isn't so much blank space.

Marvel Legends Cannonball - Wendigo BAF

I don't plan on getting most of the Wendigo BAF line. Almost all are repeats (even though I picked up Nightcrawler). Already have a Wendigo figure as well.

Had to get Cannonball. There are so few New Mutant figures from Hasbro. Although this is changing with the Dani Moonstar figure - soon to be released Walgreens exclusive. She comes with alternate heads for Karma and Wolfsbane. Smart move. You know I'll buy three just to have three independent figures.  Check out She's Fantastic review of the Dani figure.

Anyway - this is a cool figure though it's come with some controversy because he comes with no legs. Just his fiery rocket lower half. Kind of strange but wonder how you would design and manufacture a removable lower body and legs.

Star Wars The Vintage Collection Crait Luke and Imperial Gunner

As much as I didn't like The Last Jedi, I did like the Luke character and outfit at the end of the movie - the battle on Crait. He just seemed to get from his scruffy Luke look to a more "I can still be a bad ass" look - especially as he wipes the dust off his shoulder after getting incinerated by ten Imperial Walkers.

The Imperial Gunner is also a good addition. I really didn't feel the need to add another R2 or Chewbacca to the mix, and I couldn't find the Rogue One Imperial Assault Tank Commander. Honestly, since the first wave with Rey and Jyn, I haven't seen a single vintage collection carded figure at any big box store.

Hasbro Marvel Legends Retro Carded Silver Samurai

I passed on most of the retro carded X-Men, only because I have most of them in some previous incarnation. I did grab Dazzler, but Silver Samurai was a must. Why? His epic battle against Wolverine in one of the first Limited Series comics in the early 80s.

Hasbro Marvel Legends Nightcrawler

We've already had a Nightcrawler in Marvel Legends from when Toy Biz ran the show. Hasbro finally upgrades him with a few extra heads and great articulation. I'll have to pull out the old one to see how they compare. Always one of my favorite X-Men. Not sure why his description says "trouble making."
