2009 Blog Book

One of these days, I am guessing Google will shut down blogs or charge us for them, especially since few people blog anymore. Regardless, I still wanted to convert my blog into a book. I started with year one, which thankfully only had 35 entries.  It was a very manual process but I used blurb.com which I have used quite a bit.

Hoping to do a yearbook of each year just to have it in print and as a backup. It's going to be a marathon slog.

  1. Your the second blogger I've seen do this now. I'll probably go more in-depth on it in a future post, but I recently watched a video on YT that spent some time talking about the resurgence of blogs thanks to Substack. Which, if true, makes me wonder if Google might actually put a little effort back into Blogger just so that they can be tops in that category again. They do seem to be quite competitive when they want to be.

    1. Interesting. Good to know. Having worked for tech companies and in IT for over 20 years now, I've seen a lot of platforms shut down due to lack of profit. I would hate for all this work to disappear one day. Anyway, good to know. I'll have to search for some of those YouTubes.
