STOP THE PRESSES - Warpo Knocks it Out of the Park with Legends of Cthulhu

This past summer, I came across a Kickstarter campaign by a group called Warpo who were trying to crowdsource a line of 3-3/4 inch action figures based on author H.P. Lovecraft's Chtulhu stories. The figures looked cool. The packaging was very 80s retro. So, I joined the campaign. The campaign had a target goal of $60,000. The very successful campaign ended with at almost $132K.

The campaign include four figures - the professor, the Deep One, the Cultist, and the Spawn of Cthulhu. Two stretch goals were also reached which included a repaint of the Cultist as the High Priest, and a translucent Conjured Cthulhu, The only unfortunate part of the campaign was them missing a stretch goal of an action figure of the author, H.P. Lovecraft. The prototype looked pretty cool. Maybe in the future.

Anyway, I received the set this past weekend. Actually, I purchased two full sets. Definitely had to take them out of the package, and also had to keep a set in package. They absolutely rock. The sculpting and the paint job are fantastic. The packaging is outstanding.
