I went to DC's Awesome-Con a few weeks back. It was cool. Too many cosplayers though. If that's your thing, that's cool. Not my thing.
Anyway, I didn't take a lot of photos but did go to one booth that had a ton of vintage Kenner Star Wars stuff. Made me feel like it was 1983.
Probably the coolest artwork I saw was from Gregory Krivac, especially his paintings of the Battle of Hoth.

I love seeing cosplayers but they can become a hazard as people will just stop anywhere to take photos, possibly causing a people pile up.

Yeah - the traffic jam in the already tight aisles is what bugs me the most.

ReplyDeleteAgreed. These weren't reasonable prices but I am sure would have been negotiable at least a bit. I didn't try.
