Home Alone Continued - DC Korean War Memorial Recreation with 1/6 Joes

If you've never been to the Korean War Memorial in DC, it is an amazing, sombre experience. The main memorial consists of statues of 19 soldiers on patrol. Each is wearing a poncho. The 19 soldiers represent the 19 allied countries that fought to defend South Korea from 1950 through 1953.

I had done this before but wanted to set it up again and space them out a little better. Only 17 figures in this case - I ran out of ponchos. I had purchased a bunch of loose ponchos and used the 40th anniversary vintage style figures for most of the soldiers although the original hand mold makes it difficult to hold weapons and radios.

It was cool to set this up again.
