Considering how awesome the Marvel Cinematic Universe has been, you have to hand it to Fox for the work they did on the X-Men movies in the early 2000s. I even liked X3. Anyway, recently I decided to watch the first X-Men movie on the Disney+ channel. No idea why it popped into my head. It was really good. I remember having one or two of the figures at the time (Rogue and Jean Grey) but that was about it. I went onto Ebay to see what was out there. Sure enough, you can get these for really cheap. Almost all of these were less than $10 each.
For almost all of these figures, you almost get two figures for the price of one. Jean Grey comes with a mutated Senator Kelly which is quite gross. And Mystique comes with a complete Wolverine figure. I guess they thought she would sell better with a Wolverine figure, which she probably did.
This is also the bustier long hair version of Jean Grey that was pulled shortly after release. The short haired, bust painted over like a short came out afterwards.
