Vintage Kenner Star Wars Mini-rigs

I never had any mini-rigs as a kid, but really liked the design of them. They certainly fit right into the aesthetic of the line. Anyway, I saw this loose lot of four on Ebay and purchased it. Always had this idea of having some rides for the four (five) original cantina figures. Hammerhead doesn't fit in any of them due to his feet. Would be fun to paint these with some racing stripes that match the colors of the creatures. Should I do it?
