Right along with Kim Simmons' book, the publishers of A New Proof: Kenner Packaging Design 1977-1979, just released The Chromalin Strikes Back. You can find it at their website: Dear Publications, from Europe. Looks like a third edition of A New Proof can also be purchased.
These books takes the readers through the process of creating the Kenner Action Figure cardbacks. As we get to Empire and the multiple releases and the different Proof of Purchase offers, it is a large number of cardbacks that were created in the days before Photoshop.
