"V" - the Visitors - Funko Pop

I remember watching the original V mini-series when it came out in 83.  Then I saw "V- The Final Battle." Little did I know at the time that the story mimicked the rise of the Nazi party before WW2. Even the Visitors symbol looked like a swastika.

The show was awesome. They even had action figures of the Visitors in the show itself. Unfortunately, no toys were ever released in the US other than the 9 inch visitor figure.

Many fans are still hoping Super7 adds this to their ReAction line. In the meantime, Funko just released these Pops. Once again, I couldn't resist. The set includes Mike Donovan in Visitor uniform, alien leader Diana, and alien Visitor being "unmasked."

  1. It's a darn shame we didn't get any toys back in the day!

    1. Seriously. Shame no one has done them even now. So many other nostalgia properties out there.

  3. Ooh I had that 9 inch figure as a kid. It's a grail item for sure.

    1. Awesome. Interesting that it was the only action figure. However if you search Ebay for V collectibles, there's a ton of stuff out there, mostly from other countries.
