At the end of freshmen year in college, I went to a neighborhood garage sale near the campus and purchased a few Kenner vintage Star Wars figures. It was a jolt of nostalgia and fun. The seller also had a Micro Collection Hoth Ion Cannon for about $3 but I passed on it (&$#T(*&#@().
Anyway - that kind of started me down the road of collecting the vintage figures. My best friend from second grade and I started going to flea markets when we were home for breaks from college.
This is what my collection looked like in the summer of 1993 after I graduated. I didn't get much more of that until 1995, when Kenner released the Power of the Force line, and the rest is history.
