Walmart Shelves - Typical

Not sure what the deal is with Walmart and Target - if they buy too much, there's too many peg warmers. If they buy too little, it looks like this. Which is often. I don't work there so don't know what their challenges are but as a customer, it is exasperating.

  1. This is definitely the bleakest period of time for in store toy collecting I can recall. I'd like to blame it all on just covid but store shelves were this way long before covid hit.

    1. You would think the big box stores could splurge on some inventory software that connects to Hasbro, etc. We need more Black Series, gone, gone, starting to pegwarm, stop sending. Argh!

    1. :-( Been like that for years. They just can't get distribution right. No other aisle at Walmart or Target look like this. Must be a collector thing.

    2. That's because the scalpers don't grab the latest pots and pans or blankets. Just the toys.

  3. It's a shame to see those MotU figures peg warming. That is going to hamper stores picking up future waves. But yeah, the days of stores stocking the toys people actually want are long gone.

    1. It's all Skeletors and Hemans. They short packed the rest. I understand having one or two of the main characters, but they can't see to hit that happy medium with anything.
